01 / TERMS

Service scope and acceptance

EngineersCalc is a free online platform with standalone engineering calculators, selected guided workflows, supporting explanations and, for eligible registered users, facilities to save or export Engineering Artifacts. Tools vary in functionality and some may be updated or temporarily unavailable. Many public calculations are available without registration.

These Terms govern access to the currently offered free service. During account registration the user must expressly accept the Terms of Service; the system records the acceptance timestamp and the applicable terms-version identifier. The Privacy Policy is supplied separately as information about personal-data processing, not as a request for consent to essential account processing.

By registering and accepting these Terms, you enter into an agreement for the applicable free electronic services. Any mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected. Additional technical limitations are explained in the Engineering Disclaimer.

02 / TERMS

Service operator and contact

EngineersCalc is operated by Daniel Mrowiński, an individual, at ul. Starołęcka 110, 61-341 Poznań, Poland. Contact email: [email protected]. EngineersCalc is the project name; it is not represented here as an incorporated company.

You may contact the operator about these Terms, account access, technical issues or requests to close your account.

03 / TERMS

Registration, activation and account security

Registration requires the requested account fields, acceptance of these Terms and completion of an email-activation step. A confirmation message is sent to the email provided; the activation link is configured to expire after two days. After activation, users sign in through the ordinary login flow.

Keep your credentials confidential, provide accurate contact information and report suspected unauthorised use to [email protected]. Security checks and reasonable technical controls may be used to protect the service. The site requires a compatible browser, internet access for online functions and JavaScript for interactive engineering tools.

04 / TERMS

Acceptable use

You may use EngineersCalc for lawful personal, educational and professional engineering purposes. You must not use the service to violate third-party rights, submit unlawful material, attack or bypass technical controls, access another user’s records, deliberately overload the service, distribute malware or misrepresent outputs as independently certified or approved.

Automated access that materially interferes with the platform or evades safeguards may be restricted. Any restriction should be proportionate and consistent with mandatory law.

05 / TERMS

Engineering calculations and limitations

Engineering results depend on the inputs, assumptions, model scope, units and applicable engineering conditions. A status such as PASS, FAIL or WARNING applies only to the criteria and assumptions explicitly evaluated by that tool; PASS is not a certification of a machine, component, process or complete design.

You remain responsible for reviewing input data, interpreting results, selecting applicable laws and standards, checking suitability for the intended application, performing independent engineering verification where needed and obtaining any legally required professional approval. Use in safety-critical applications requires particular care. Read the separate Engineering Disclaimer before relying on the outputs.

06 / TERMS

User data, snapshots and Engineering Artifacts

The platform can store some saved calculations and finalized Engineering Artifacts in your browser (including localStorage and temporary sessionStorage). Where an authenticated save is available, finalized Engineering Artifacts are also stored as non-public records in the EngineersCalc WordPress database and associated with your account. Browser-stored data may remain on the device after logout and may be lost if browser storage is cleared, a device is changed or access to that browser is unavailable.

A finalized Engineering Artifact is designed to be immutable as a record of that execution. You can create a new execution to capture corrections rather than modify an already-finalized record. The platform currently provides a per-artifact delete action and an export-to-PDF action, subject to technical compatibility and availability. History views and API collection responses can display only a limited number of recent items; do not assume they provide a complete account-wide data export.

You are responsible for maintaining independent copies of engineering work that you need to preserve. Do not use EngineersCalc as the sole repository for irreplaceable engineering documentation.

07 / TERMS

Rights in materials and permitted processing

You retain any intellectual property rights you hold in project information, input data and other materials you provide. You must have the authority to use and submit that material and should avoid including unnecessary personal, confidential or third-party information.

You grant the operator only the non-exclusive permission reasonably necessary to receive, process, store, transmit, display and make available your content for operating and supporting the functions you request, subject to applicable law and the Privacy Policy. This is not a general permission to publish private project data, sell it or train third-party models on it.

The EngineersCalc software, site design, original explanatory content and associated materials remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Third-party standards, documents and trademarks remain subject to their respective owners’ rights.

08 / TERMS

Availability, updates and technical requirements

EngineersCalc is made available without a recurring service fee in its present scope. The operator may maintain, correct, update, secure, suspend or discontinue functions for legitimate operational reasons, with suitable notice where practicable and required by law. Not every tool will have identical features, and no specific uptime or uninterrupted storage commitment is currently offered.

Use requires a compatible browser and an internet connection for online features. Some functions use browser storage, JavaScript and downloadable exports; disabling those features can limit functionality. Technical restrictions, maintenance or third-party hosting failures may temporarily affect availability.

09 / TERMS

Account closure and data deletion

You may request closure of your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. Self-service whole-account deletion is not currently available. The operator will verify the request as needed and process it in accordance with applicable data-protection law.

Individual Engineering Artifacts can be deleted through available controls. Following a verified request to delete a user account, the tested account-deletion mechanism removes the account and all of its associated ec_artifact records from the live WordPress database, including records not shown in the dashboard's recent-items list. Separately retained support messages, legal records and hosting backups are managed under the Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements.

Before requesting closure, download any engineering records you need while you still have access. Browser-local records and files already downloaded to a user's device cannot be remotely removed by EngineersCalc; they can be cleared using the browser or device controls. Information in older hosting backups can remain until rotation and must be taken into account if a backup is restored.

10 / TERMS

Free access and technical boundaries

These Terms apply solely to the currently provided free services. Access to the available functions does not require a service fee.

Registration does not confer ownership of the service, an entitlement to unlimited storage, a guarantee of continued availability of any particular feature or professional engineering certification. Any material expansion or modification of the service requires appropriately updated terms and notices before the change applies where legally required.

11 / TERMS

Responsibility and mandatory rights

The platform is provided as engineering decision support, not a substitute for qualified independent review. The operator takes reasonable steps to maintain the service but does not promise that results will be error-free, complete or appropriate for every engineering use case. You must assess whether a tool is suitable for your particular task.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability or statutory rights where such exclusion or restriction is prohibited. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory rights of consumers or excludes liability where such a restriction would be invalid under applicable law.

12 / TERMS

Applicable law, complaints and changes

These Terms are governed by Polish law, without removing mandatory protections available to consumers under applicable law, including protections that cannot be excluded by contract. For questions, service complaints or account issues, contact [email protected]. Describe the issue, affected tool or account and circumstances without unnecessarily disclosing sensitive project information.

The operator reviews complaints and aims to respond within 14 days when possible; this is an operational target and does not displace any statutory deadlines or remedies. A user may also exercise applicable data-protection rights as explained in the Privacy Policy.

Terms may be amended where reasonably necessary for legal, technical, security or service reasons. Material changes will be communicated where required, and fresh acceptance will be requested if legally necessary. The terms-version identifier recorded at registration must correspond to the version published and presented to the registering user.

Questions about these Terms?

For questions, account requests or technical problems, contact EngineersCalc. Avoid including sensitive project data unless necessary.
